Flat Zip File
Could someone please tell me how to create a Flat Zip file on a PC so I can import my photos into PowerSchool?   Thank you very much for any guidance!!!!!

Here are some directions I put together a few years ago. Pretty sure they still work.

To zip the images, it makes a difference if you are using a Mac or Windows computer. On the Mac, I open the folder with the image files. I select the images I need to zip then right click and select “Compress xxx items”. It creates the flat zip file needed to import the photos. On the Windows, I open the folder with the image files. I select the images I need to zip then right click and select “Send To Compressed (zipped) Folder”. I usually rename the zip files HS Pictures or Elem Pictures.

Thanks!  I'll give it whirl!!!

Flat files do not have sub-folders so there is not a folder inside my zipped folder, only photo files.

I'm not sure if it is exactly the same for all PCs but for me, I select/highlight the photos I want to include in the zip file, right click, select "Send to" then "Compressed (zipped) folder".

Worked  like a charm ladies!  Thank you so much!!!
