Is anyone else having an issue with their dual credit courses not reporting correctly?  I have several courses/sections showing up in my Adviser validation as dual credit when they are not.  With students enrolled receiving dual credit as well.
In PowerSchool, I do not have any courses/sections marked as dual credit, but after grades are stored, I go to the student's historical grades for those who received dual credit and mark the fields.
Right now in Adviser validation, I have a large number of sections showing dual credit and one class that should be showing is not.  Does anyone have any idea where Adviser is pulling this information from. Last year I had no problem at all.   I have double checked everything I can think of.  I am thinking it has to be at the section level but I'm stumped.
I am on the latest reporting version.  20.5.1.0.2.0
Thank you in advance!

Lori,
Yes are starting to see this as well.  Please open a ticket with PS (we will be doing the same thing) I will talk with the PS development team on Thursday about this as well.

If there are any other districts with this issue please open a ticket with PS.

Thanks,
Aimee

Which of these sessions would you recommend for a school nurse, or is there anything that would apply?

That is a good question. We don't get a lot of interest from nurses, so we don't have anything specific to them, so it depends on how well they know PS. If they are new to PS, I would recommend PS 101 and the sessions on utilizing reports and form letters.

What session(s) will Roger Sprik be leading?

All,

The VST team has set up a Nebraska PowerSchool ADVISER google group.  This group will be the primary way that you will receive information/announcements that are specific to PowerSchool regarding ADVISER such as updates, known issues, fixes, available trainings etc.  We would like at least one person from each PowerSchool district to be a member of the group. In the next few weeks you may receive an invite to join, please accept. You can also ask to join by clicking on the following link https://groups.google.com/d/forum/powerschooladviser that will take you to the group page where you can click on the Apply for Membership Link.

DO NOT transfer seniors out of PowerSchool!! NDE has seen several districts do this and it is not the correct thing to do.

ADVISER requires a 210 exit code record be sent for graduated seniors, but this doesn't require you to transfer the seniors out of PowerSchool. Transferring out the seniors will causes more errors. All that needs to be done is to set the seniors Exit Code to whatever your school uses for graduated and change the Exit Date. The Exit Date can be any date between their last day in attendance and the day after the last day in the calendar.

HINT: To do this quickly, you can use the Student Field Value function to do a mass change.

Just wanted to update everyone:
If you are hosted by PowerSchool most likely you received a state update (v. 19.5.1) over the weekend.  Unfortunately there were some major bugs with this update.  PowerSchool informed us that an update (v.19.5.1.1) will be released tomorrow and applied to your server over the weekend.  On Monday you will need to go to your EdFi page in PowerSchool and run publish all on all categories

Due to the issues with the update we have scheduled another workday at ESU 11 (Holdrege) on Thursday June 13th from 9-3:00. Ellie Schroeder (PowerSchool Support) and Ginny Carter (NDE) will be there.

You can register here:

Thank You

For districts that are self hosted.  You should be able to access the release sometime tomorrow.  It is suggested that you reboot your PS server after the update.

All,
We are learning that some districts still have not received the update.  If you are one of them.  Please open a ticket with PowerSource request that they update to the 19.5.1.1 state release as soon as possible.    It is recommended you that you publish all data once you receive the update.
