Can anyone tell me if we actually need to complete the new Crisis Event Page for each student?  If we do can you please tell me if that can be done with fill Field Value or an Import.  I found the export fields but cannot get the information to import back in.  It appears to me that when you create a Crisis Event it assigns a Crisis Event Student DCID (that is completely different from the DCID or ID) and Event ID and I cannot find the table to import the information back in.  Thank you for ANY help with this!

Hello Kris,

Sheri Schultis was nice enough to walk me through it. The easiest way to make sure you are working with all of the correct fields and tables is to manually enter the data on 1 student.

Then go to: Start Page > Special Functions > Importing & Exporting

Select Data Export Manager

For Category Choose: Database Extensions

In the Export from find: S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C

Select all of the fields from that extension and export.

You will now have the template you need for your import.

The only fields you need to fill data in are:

STUDENTS.DCID
S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C.endDate
S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C.eventDescriptor S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C.startDate

Leave the rest blank.

Once you have all your data filled in go to: Start Page > Special Functions > Importing & Exporting

Choose Data Import Manager

Select your file
Import into: S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C

You only need to map from your file the fields I listed above.

Import

Your all set then.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much for this info but I still seem to be confused.

Is there a difference between STUDENTS.DCID and S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C.StudentsDCID?  How do I find either?

There is no difference, The Student.DCID is used for the S_STU_CRISISEVENT_C.StudentDCID.

If you export out all of your students via quickexport, and check the box to include DCID, that ID is what you will use to import into that table.

Is anyone using RevTrak to allow parents to make online payments to their lunch accounts?  Do you like it?  What kind of security access to you need to provide them?
Thanks,

Is anyone else having an issue with their dual credit courses not reporting correctly?  I have several courses/sections showing up in my Adviser validation as dual credit when they are not.  With students enrolled receiving dual credit as well.
In PowerSchool, I do not have any courses/sections marked as dual credit, but after grades are stored, I go to the student's historical grades for those who received dual credit and mark the fields.
Right now in Adviser validation, I have a large number of sections showing dual credit and one class that should be showing is not.  Does anyone have any idea where Adviser is pulling this information from. Last year I had no problem at all.   I have double checked everything I can think of.  I am thinking it has to be at the section level but I'm stumped.
I am on the latest reporting version.  20.5.1.0.2.0
Thank you in advance!

Lori,
Yes are starting to see this as well.  Please open a ticket with PS (we will be doing the same thing) I will talk with the PS development team on Thursday about this as well.

If there are any other districts with this issue please open a ticket with PS.

Thanks,
Aimee

Which of these sessions would you recommend for a school nurse, or is there anything that would apply?

That is a good question. We don't get a lot of interest from nurses, so we don't have anything specific to them, so it depends on how well they know PS. If they are new to PS, I would recommend PS 101 and the sessions on utilizing reports and form letters.

What session(s) will Roger Sprik be leading?

Has anyone else noticed that the Teacher Attendance Submission page will not display who has or has not taken attendance until mid-morning?

We try to check by 8:30 am so we can start prompting teachers to take attendance and then calling to see where absent students are.

I wonder if there is a time setting someplace or something that PS can adjust?

Go to:  School< Attendance < Teacher Attendance Submission

Thank you

Ours displays right away.  I also check every morning to see who has taken attendance and it is showing up for us.

MAYBE this is it????

I found in the PS Community that someone else said "Teacher Attendance Submission Status report does not display correctly in 19.11.0.0"

     We are on version 19.11.0.0
They did not say what was not working but ? the response was:
A Fix has been released in PowerSchool 19.11.0.1.
