ESU 10 is hosting a Wordpress Advanced Topics Workshop on January 28, 2010 in the computer labs at ESU 10 in Kearney. The “advanced” topics we will be covering are:
Working with Media

  • Pictures
  • Picture Galleries
  • Audio/Audio Podcasts
  • Video/Video Podcasts
  • Other Files – PDF, Word, Excel, Etc.

Many of 
you have a WordPress Account with GNENC, ESU 10 or your local ESU. If you know of someone else who you think would like a WordPress account, point them to: and have them click on Account Request.

We intentionally don’t have a lot on the agenda so you have time to not only learn a new topic, but also have time to work on your existing site and ask questions while someone is there to help.

This is the beginning level workshop to ESU 10’s new web content and blogging software. In this workshop we will explore effective teacher websites, plan your web presence, and build your site using WordPress. By the end of the day, you will have a working site that students, parents and other visitors will be able to access and use. If you are currently using Manila for your web presence, this service will be going away at the end of June. WordPress is replacing Manila so if you need to migrate your site, this would be a great opportunity to do so.

In this series we are featuring nine webinars on Marzano's instructional strategies. Each webinar will focus on the how to use specific instructional strategies in your classroom as well as technology tips and tricks to integrate along the way!

Each webinar is a one-hour session from 4-5PM.  A day or so before the webinar, you will receive an email with instructions and the website for the webinar.

There is no driving or weather worries, all you need is a computer! Choose just one webinar to attend or choose them all! These are great refreshers if you attended Classroom Instruction That Works this last summer! Even if you don't know anything about these instructional strategies, please join us and find out all the easy ways of engaging and reaching your students.

Custom Web Page Management - provides ability to manage custom web pages via the web

PowerTeacher Gradebook - online gradebook. We will cover the new features in 1.6, but also  explore the basic features for those not familiar w/ PT Gradebook.

PowerSchool Administrator - helps to monitor and maintain the PowerSchool system

Hello Everyone,

I can not get my power school report to pick up all my students for State Id's. Where on the NDE can I get the template?  

Never mind I got it to work.  Let me share, please check your dates when running state report.  Even though I set the date to my new year of 2009 and asked for it to reset, it kept the 2008 year, so double check your dates.
